Mom and Dad took me for a ride in the little yellow noisemaker today and we flew up the coast and had a picnic and went for a walk and there were lots of new smells.

Dad will have to turn in his Man Card for this one. Mom brought at least five other outfits. They weren't all pink. He's been talking about getting me some cammies. Too late now ;)

They made me wear these Mutt Muffs while we were flying. I slept most of the way, so I guess it was ok.

Flying makes ya hungry!

We had lunch at the Nehalem Bay airport near Manzanita.

Mom packed a great lunch.

And all I got was these dry biscuits.

I really wanted to chew on my Mutt Muffs so Dad left them in the plane for next time.

When we go again, I want to see a whale and hang my head out the window and bark at all the birds!

Running around the dunes

I had another great day at the beach!

I love playing with sticks.

We found this really cool fort.

Hey! I'll race you down the hill!

Who has the cutest butt? Be honest. I mean, c'mon!

Fun and Games

My evil step-sister and her boy toy came to visit for the weekend. They insisted on playing Rummikub. B-O-R-I-N-G!!!

Afterward, I got to play fetch. Now that's a game! It's fun, and I always win.

A day at the office

Every morning, I get to dress up and go to the office with Mom.

I'm really good at helping her with paperwork.

If I do well on my next performance review, she'll let me start answering the phone.

My co-workers are the best part of the job. The boss works us like the dogs we are, but we kick back, too. These are my pals, Kuma and Zoey.

When we need a break from all these toys, we go out an snuffle around in the yard.

I get to hang out with my friend, Chaco, too. His dad made him this party sized pad.

Chaco got all the fur that I didn't!

Sometimes, the busy executive needs nothing more than a 20 minute power nap under her desk.

Or on the love seat. Really, the important thing is just to recharge and get your head back into the game.

Me and Reilly

This is my friend Reilly.

I needed a little help getting his attention at first!

Reilly has the best toys!
We play chase with this one.

My favorite game is hide-n-seek.

Shhh!!! Which way did he go?

Separated at birth?

Littermate?
Undercover PETA agent?
Mommy?!

You decide...

A day at the beach

I spent some time catching rays at the beach this weekend.

I found all sorts of things to sniff and play with.

Look, Ma! No cape!

Here's another one of my super powers. I can move REALLY fast!

Hey! The surf's up!

It was about head high today. A little too big for my first lesson. Darn!

So we went agate hunting instead.

I wish I had a pair of boots!

Miss Adventure

Mom made me a cape. She wants me to stay warm when I go outside.

It's the perfect disguise, really. When I slip into my cape, I become a SuperHero!

Call me... Miss Adventure!

I'm so ferocious, I can conquer King Kong!

How do I look in red?

What I learned in school today

I love kindergarten! I get to play with my pals Gorilla and Horse and Bird and all the others whose names I'm still learning.

Horse likes it when I play ruff with him.

Gorilla is my best friend. He gives me big kisses. Plus, he's really warm and snuggly.

But I have to say, sometimes the reading assignments are sooo boring. I mean, who needs this? We have a house full of nice soft carpet, and it's really cold and icky outside.

Look what I got for Christmas!

Santa brought me a pair of humans! They're really goofy. This guy calls himself Dad. He loves taking pictures of me.

And this one calls herself Mom.

Here I am posing with my litter mates. They were pretty cool about me pulling them around by their ears and tails. I miss them... Not!

That's my real mom at the bottom.
